Simpsons or South Park. Both are funny and, though they may not cause as big of a laugh as Family guy or American Dad, they cause laughs to occur more often. South Park has hidden messages following around each of their episodes with lessons to be learned along with their satire. Simpsons always has something new to take a look at. Take one of those.

I say DEFINITELY South Park. The material is laugh-out-loud hilarious. And its wonderfully controversial in some parts. Not to mention its one of my favorite shows. It is also very current, especially the new season going on right now, season 14. The best part is, you can watch EVERY EPISODE EVER for free online at southparkstudios.com. You can watch them all and figure out which ones you like enough to download. I have around 8 on my iPod, its awesome.

Thumbs up to everyone for being cool enough to have watched all 4 shows. I prefer South Park and Family Guy equally, because of the over the top humor.

oh and an episode u shuld DEFinately get is manbearpig!
I watched that episode 6x and can never get sick of it..

I know I am probably going to get heaps of thumbs down by saying “American Dad’ but personally that’s my favourite show out of the 4 choices given.

If you’re looking for early seasons of the Simpsons, get that if you don’t have that already. South Park is awesome too. Family Guy was consistently funny for its first three seasons. American Dad is underrated and actually better than Family Guy nowadays. It’s gotten even better as Family Guy has declined. Get either old Simpsons seasons or any South Park.

First of all South park for sure. They jokes are consistently funny and you’ll get a gut busting laugh at least once in every episode. I laugh through out each episode. Family guy tends to be sort of a
“sketch” show where as they just have a series of interchangeable hit or miss jokes. I actually like American dad much better than family guy. While they are still very topical they do it without the annoying cutaways presented in family guy and roger is just pure comedic genius. American dad picks up steam around season 3 once they have figured out what they want each character to be. They are all good but I became a hardcore fan around then. Simpson “was” perfect. After so many season they have seen a decline in quality. You still get 9 or so great season though. Getting all the Simpson would be the hardest to accomplish as there are currently 20 plus season available. All in all its really a personnel decision that no one can make for you. Before you get anything take into account replay value. If the same episode of a show can consistently make you laugh no matter how many times you see it then I would go for that. For me its south park and American dad but find out what you find easier to re-watch over and over again. I can pop in any disc from American dad or south park and at least chuckle a few times even though I ‘ve seen them each plenty of times. Oh and south park has just gotten better since the beginning with a few “OK” episodes along the way. They still remain consistently funny while simpsons and family guy have declined and american dads first 2 season were no where near as good has they are now
