how to download torrents faster on dial up?
I am unable to get broadband so im stuck on dial up. i once downloaded a movie torrent and it was going at like 5 times my dial up speed (50kbs) and since then i have been unable to do it at these speeds so i wanted to know a program that will consistantly accelerate my speed ( no download accelerators please they dnt work)

torrents only download at a maximum of around an 8th of your total available download bandwith.
I am sorry but you can’t increase your torrent speed beyond what your connection limits you to.
Some tips to improve your speed as much as possible are:
Apply the half open patch and set it tbetween 50-100

well,, whats your torrent client? im using utorrent for one year..if you have bit commet or vuze,, uninstall it cuz it has a virus that is client-base..

There is no solution.
If it happens to be the case you were banned by a previous ISP (broadband provider) for your illegal downloads, it seems you are determined to get yourself cut off from the Internet completely.
In a download context there is no legal use for torrents and those who are being disadvantaged by people downloading illegally are now fighting back. Torrent sites are gradually being taken down and ISP’s are beginning to monitor illegal downloads

Downloading torrents is illegal, but hell even the government is probably doing it.. But if you got Dial-Up you probably shouldn’t be doing it, wouldn’t wanna lag your line out
